CHINESE CHIPMAKER YMTC PUTS SHANGHAI IPO ON HOLD, SOURCES SAY YMTC's parent, CCSH Corporation, filed in August for an IPO on Shanghai's STAR market, aiming to raise 33 billion yuan ($4.9 billion). The hold is due to "various factors," according to an internal company memo seen by Reuters. Two people say the delay could last several months and that a listing in the first half of 2027 is likely, subject to market conditions. Four people also say the China Securities Regulatory Commission has given informal guidance to investment banks to slow IPOs by AI and chip companies. YMTC and the CSRC did not respond to requests for comment, per Reuters.
