The dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against six major currencies, fell 0.27% to 101.701 at the New York close on the 20th. EUR/USD rose to 1.1237 from 1.1212 and GBP/USD rose to 1.3383 from 1.3305. USD/JPY slipped to 158.20 from 158.52, USD/CHF to 0.8248 from 0.8265, USD/CAD to 1.4057 from 1.4106 and USD/SEK to 9.8979 from 9.9200. 20-OCT-2026 03:37 PM ET
