INTC ▲ +2.7% - Intel Corporation $INTC Intel has applied to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission for an exemption from a recent ban on foreign-made advanced robotic equipment, saying certain devices are essential to U.S. semiconductor manufacturing and lack validated domestic replacements. In a filing dated Oct. 16 and made public Monday, Intel warned its automated guided vehicles (AGVs), used for in?fab material transport, could fall under rules banning the import and sale of foreign advanced robotics.
