CHINA WARNS EU IT HAS TOOLS READY IF TRADE TENSIONS ESCALATE China warned it could deploy foreign-subsidy probes and anti-discrimination measures if trade tensions with the EU intensify, according to a CCTV-linked account. The warning comes after France and Germany pushed for tougher EU measures against Chinese imports, including a proposed tool allowing Brussels to block imports benefiting from unfair subsidies.
