$MRVL – Marvell Raises Long-Term AI Infrastructure Ambitions Marvell Technology ($MRVL) is setting a much bigger growth target as AI data-center spending continues to accelerate. At its Investor Day on October 6, Marvell CEO Matt Murphy said the company sees an approximately $400 billion total addressable market by 2030. Management also expects approximately $20 billion in total company revenue in fiscal 2028. That FY2028 target is especially notable because Marvell had only recently raised its outlook to around $18 billion, up from its previous $16.5 billion forecast. The company is now expecting another step-up as demand for AI infrastructure, custom silicon and high-speed connectivity continues to grow. The opportunity goes well beyond custom AI chips. Marvell is targeting several critical parts of the AI data-center stack, including custom compute, optical interconnects, switching, networking and scale-up connectivity. The company’s acquisition of Celestial AI also expands its exposure to optical scale-up interconnect. Marvell expects Celestial AI to begin contributing revenue in the second half of FY2028, with its annualized revenue expected to reach about $500 million in Q4 FY2028 and potentially $1 billion by Q4 FY2029. Marvell’s latest outlook comes as its data-center business continues to accelerate. In Q2 FY2027, data-center revenue reached $2.17 billion, up 46% year over year, while management expected Q3 data-center revenue to grow roughly 75% year over year. Why it matters: The AI infrastructure buildout is becoming increasingly dependent on the network connecting GPUs, custom accelerators and memory. Marvell is positioning itself as a major supplier of the connectivity and custom silicon needed as AI clusters become larger and more complex. Bottom line: $MRVL is raising the bar significantly — a $400B 2030 TAM and ~$20B FY2028 revenue target show how aggressively management expects AI infrastructure demand to expand. #MRVL #Marvell #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #DataCenters #CustomSilicon #Networking #Semiconductors #AIInfrastructure #Optical
