#NRGV – Energy Vault Secures 275 MW Power Order for AI Data Centers Energy Vault Secures 275 MW Order From 2G Energy Energy Vault ($NRGV) is expanding its power infrastructure for AI data centers with a new 275 MW order from Germany’s 2G Energy. The equipment will support Energy Vault’s Powered Land and Powered Shell solutions for AI and data-center customers, including hyperscalers. The systems will be built and tested in Germany before being shipped to the U.S. Deliveries are currently planned between Q4 2027 and Q3 2028, and the agreement also includes long-term service support. Why This Matters The big issue for AI data centers right now is not just GPUs — it is getting enough power online fast enough. Energy Vault is building its business around solving that problem by combining power generation, batteries, grid infrastructure and controls for large AI campuses. This 275 MW order gives the company additional generation capacity to support its growing pipeline of AI infrastructure projects. Energy Vault previously announced that it had secured financing for the same 275 MW of reciprocating-engine generation capacity, using Rolls-Royce MTU technology, with deliveries beginning in the second half of 2027. What to Watch The important thing for $NRGV investors now is how quickly Energy Vault converts its AI data-center pipeline into actual customer projects and recurring revenue. The company is targeting a Build, Own & Operate model, where it develops and operates power infrastructure rather than simply selling equipment. That could create longer-term revenue streams if the projects move forward as planned. Bottom Line: $NRGV is adding 275 MW of generation capacity to its AI infrastructure platform, giving Energy Vault more equipment and power capacity to support hyperscale data-center projects as demand for reliable electricity continues to grow. #NRGV #EnergyVault #AI #DataCenters #PowerInfrastructure #ArtificialIntelligence #Hyperscalers #Energy #AIInfrastructure #Stocks
