GOLDMAN CUTS SMARTPHONE SHIPMENT OUTLOOK Goldman Sachs lowered its global smartphone shipment forecasts, now expecting 1.1 billion units in 2026 and 1.2 billion in both 2027 and 2028. Despite weaker volumes, higher prices and premium devices are expected to push market value to $624 billion in 2026 and $674 billion by 2028.
