The Baltic Dry Index rose to a one-week high on Tuesday as freight rates strengthened across vessel segments. The BDI gained 33 points (+1%) to 3,432, its highest since Sept. 14. The Capesize index (BCI) added 53 points (+0.9%) to 5,892; Capesize average daily earnings rose USD 488 to USD 49,938. The Panamax index (BPI) climbed 44 points (+1.9%) to 2,299; Panamax daily earnings rose USD 390 to USD 20,687. The Supramax index (BSI) ticked up 5 points (+0.3%) to 1,776. 22-SEP-2026 09:50 AM ET
